From 1 January 2010 Fleetdown Infant and Junior Schools amalgamated to form a new Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 school called Fleetdown Primary School.

The amalgamation came about due to the retirement of the previous headteachers and was with the full support of the pupils, parents, staff and governing bodies.
